Starlight Road Solar Warning Post (Road Mark) Installation Guide: 3-Step Quick Deployment for Road Safety
Efficient installation of urban road safety equipment has always been a key challenge in traffic management. Starlight Road's Solar Warning Post (Road Mark) breaks through traditional construction bottlenecks with its "no wiring + modular" design—users can complete installation with just 3 common tools (crosshead screwdriver, adjustable wrench, open-end wrench), making it a "plug-and-play" solution for urban safety upgrades.
1. Unboxing Inventory & Tool Preparation
Upon receipt, users should verify components against the packing list (including warning post body, yellow flashing light, solar panel, visor, mounting screws, etc.) and sort them for easy access. Preparing three basic tools—crosshead screwdriver, adjustable wrench, and open-end wrench—eliminates the need for specialized equipment, drastically lowering the installation threshold.
2. Modular Installation Process for Core Components
Visor Mounting
Bend the visor into a semi-ring, insert it into the installation groove around the signal light, and secure it with screws through the four corner holes.
Solar Panel Connection
Use a wrench to unscrew the top nut of the device, removing the spring washer and gasket in sequence.
Align the solar panel bracket holes, re-install the gasket, spring washer, and tighten the nut.
Finally, connect and lock the solar panel's aviation plug with the port at the bottom of the yellow flashing light to complete the power supply system.
Post & Lamp Pole Fixing
Align the flange of the lamp pole with the bottom flange of the warning post, insert M12*25 screws through the 4 fixed holes, and tighten with a wrench. The process requires no complex calibration—bolt holes are precision-matched to standard road lamp poles.
3. Pre-power Function Check
After installation, conduct simple functionality tests:
Photocontrol System: Under normal lighting, the marker's illuminators remain off due to photocontrol. Cover the solar panel completely to trigger immediate flashing.
Yellow Flashing Light: No extra operation needed. The light automatically enters 24/7 high-frequency flashing (40 times/minute) with a visibility range exceeding 300m in rain/fog.
