Targeting the power supply pain points of equipment in areas without municipal power coverage such as mountainous areas and remote curves, the Starlight Road Smart Roadside Warning System is equipped with a high-performance solar power supply system. It ensures the stable operation of the equipment through the "photovoltaic + energy storage" dual mode, expanding the application boundary of intelligent early warning technology.​

The power supply scheme of the system has both flexibility and reliability: it is core-configured with a 12V/30A solar charge controller, adopts efficient series PWM charging technology, and is matched with 36V/150W monocrystalline silicon solar panels and 12V/100AH*2 lead-acid batteries to achieve efficient energy conversion and storage. It supports solar independent power supply and solar-municipal power dual-mode switching, adapting to power conditions in different scenarios.​

The intelligent control function is prominent: key parameters such as charging stage and battery voltage are displayed in real time through the LCD interface, 6 output modes (24-hour/light control/timing, etc.) can be switched on demand, and two built-in USB interfaces provide 5V/1A peripheral power supply. The system integrates multiple protections such as overcharge, over-discharge and over-current, and the power MOSFET electronic switch replaces the mechanical switch to reduce the risk of failure.​

It performs stably in extreme environments: with working temperature adaptability of -25℃~+55℃ and humidity adaptability of 10%~95% RH, static loss ≤20mA, and it can continuously supply power for 120 hours in rainy days (subject to actual tests). This scheme breaks through the limitation of relying on municipal power, enabling the intelligent early warning system to "operate reliably without manual supervision" in scenarios such as remote curves and mountainous roads, providing continuous power for full-road safety protection.
